YAC

A chance to go to Jackson’s Mill
Beautiful surroundings and scrumptious snacks
A chance to hang out and make new friends
We could not pass up YAC

Although our cadre may have been small
The fun we had was great
Stacy, Jessie, Andy and I
Hope to gain others for next YAC’s date

We played Sequence with last year’s Uno sharks
We saw a few illogical moves
But really fun to play on any day
Of our Sequence, these guys approved

An Easter egg hunt was prepared for us
We strived madly to get every egg we could see
To turn them into tickets
On prizes that your happiness would be guaranteed

Though 132 tickets we obtained
We sadly did not win
But I guarantee that given the chance
We’d try that hard again

The class Dance Dance Revolution
Fed our desire for a play station 2
The leader, a DDR genius
Could check your heat for you

Some Jr. ROTC students inspired us
Teaching us about service and integrity
They talked about the colors of the flag
A neuron enhancing activity

“Christmas caroling” that Stacy loved
The silent auction and teacher class
Going to council circle in the cold and rain
Memories that are sure to last

And next year when January falls
Carrie and Kayla should with us pack
To Lewis County, West Virginia’s heart
A big How How for YAC
